Department phonebooks on SNOM phones

Has anyone managed to get department phonebooks working correctly on SNOM phones?
In our setup, the phones always show the full company directory, even though the user is assigned to only one department.

Ideally, we’d like the SNOM D8xx / D7xx phones to only expose the department-specific phonebook, instead of the global one.

If anyone has this working—or knows whether this is even already possible—we’d really appreciate some insight.
