Desktop Client Updates

Our users are using multiple different version of the 3CX Desktop app. Some users are even showing up as having multiple versions installed on their laptops. Is there a recommended way to keep the 3CX Desktop App standardized for everyone? How would updates work? a GPO Policy might work but I am worried about having to reprovision everyone's app individually.

Typically it installs in each user's %appdata% and updates when run (or, if left open). If a user hasn't logged in then it will not update.
