Solved DesktopApp 18.8.508: No busy tone when called party sends "600 Busy Everywhere"

There ist only one ringing tone and then the call is hung up, instead of busy tone when called party sends "600 Busy Everywhere" to the DesktopApp 18.8.508.

What can be done that there is a busy tone when called party sends "600 Busy Everywhere"?

What you could do is enable the option to "Play Busy prompt when extension is busy". This will instead play a prompt but do note that the PBX does 'answer' the call to play the prompt so this may influence the outcomes of the Reports.

In this client's case, the call is an outgoing call from the 3CX (A) to some external number (B). The caller A calls with DesktopApp 18.8.508. B answers with "600 Busy Everywhere". What currently happens is, that A hears one time ringing and then this call is hung up.

If I understand correctly "Play Busy prompt when extension is busy" plays a busy prompt to an external caller if he/she calls to 3CX.

Do you have a suggestion how to play a busy prompt to a 3CX (A) which tries to call an external number (B), which answers with "600 Busy Everywhere"?

Hi @3cxjan,

If I understand correctly "Play Busy prompt when extension is busy" plays a busy prompt to an external caller if he/she calls to 3CX.

The prompt is played if extensions call extensions internally as well. If you enable the option it should work for you!
