DI.ADS(19908638) can not subscribe to non-extension: sip:*20*

Hi all,

One of our systems is getting the following error appear in the activity log almost every second:

05/02/2025 17:49:18.831 DI.ADS(19908638) can not subscribe to non-extension: sip:*20*@OURDOMAIN.3cx.uk

We have Polycom VVX phones and they have a BLF custom speed dial for the call pickup code *20*.

If I remove all of the custom speed dial BLF keys the error stops.

I added the same BLF config on another system and do not get these errors.

We are running Version 20.0 Update 3 (Build 806 Release), self hosted in the cloud with an on site SBC.

I found another forum post with a similar error which suggested it was caused by a BLF key configured for an extension that doesn't/no longer exists, so not sure that this is quite the same.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

Are you using a modified template for the phone provisioning perhaps?

Sounds like the phone was provisioned with the pickup code as a BLF instead of a Speed Dial.
