I have a particular problem. I have a 3cx pbx linkes through a gateway to an old Siemens PBX. I need to be able to dial 3 digits extension of the Siemens from the 3cx which has 4 digit extensions. From another extension is easy, y just create a dummy extension with 3 digit SIP ID and forward the call to the trunk.

The thing is, i need this to be done from the Digital Receptionist and i just haven't been able to make it work ...

Haven't tried using SIP ID from anything other than an extension. It may be that the IVR may only respond to an actual extension number, and not simply any digits dialled. It doesn't allow a caller to dial an outside number as you would from an extension, so obviously some screening is involved. From your experience, that would seem to be the case. Someone from 3CX may be able to confirm.

Hello @Alejandro Latini

Please note that it is not possible to dial a SIP id through a Digital Receptionist. The dialled number has to be an extension of the system.
