Ring group is 3850. The ring group includes 4 members, 3 have no devices and should receive emails only, the 4th also has no device but does simultaneously ring a cell phone tied to the extension. I can dial the extension (1012) and ring the cell. I can dial the ring group (3850) and that too will ring the cell and if unanswered will go to voicemail for the ring group, which in turn emails all 4 users. If I use a digital receptionist to reach the ring group (option 9 = 3850) it goes straight to voicemail for the ring group without ever ringing the cell. What am I missing?

Compare a call to the ring group and a DR call sent to the same ring group, in the 3CX Activity Log. It should show why the call goes straight to voicemail.

Is the call considered an internal call at that point? or External?
Make sure all variations of extension 1012 and the Ring Group 3850 have the same rules applied to them...
I've seen instances where 1 of the options are not set properly.
