dialup line

I have an industrial robot that has built in an dialup modem with RJ11 interface. Tech support must connect to this robot from abroad, via dialup connection. I have configured one extension with a Grandstream gtw to analog RJ11 plug, but I am unable to find any dialup number to test it.

Do you have some experience with 3CX and dialup lines? The 3CX PBX will support it?

Only with using a Patton gateway (they have far more flexibility and features over the Grandstream - albeit at a higher price).

This was the voip profile settings required in a Patton for modems (just in the off chance someone is interested).

Start by connecting a traditional analog phone to the RJ11 to ensure the gateway is working properly. I assume this is an FXS gateway, not an FXO. Your gateway will have extension numbers assigned to the ports. You then can call into your 3CX and then select the correct extension number, or have a DID route directly to the desired extension. Once you can make a phone call to the analog phone, then connect it to the robot. Alternatively, you can purchase a POTS line and connect it directly to the robot and bypass 3CX entirely.
