I have tried to follow a couple of 3CX articles on how to route inbound calls from SIP trunks using the DID numbers, but and not having any luck. Need help

I currently have 3 SIP trunks setup
  1. Broadvoice
With 6 DID numbers under it.
  2. Daycare
    With one DID
Inbound rules

Fax line directly to fax machine (Works, can send and receive Faxes)

The DID is from the Broadvoice group above

Inbound 1 – 5 (5 different Inbound Rules labeled 1, 2,3 …)
Each one with a different DID from the Broadvoice group above
All Rules go to RG 800 and that has 2 extension assigned and they receive and answer calls. (Good so far)

The issue is I have one Inbound rule with the one DID called Daycare (See SIP trunk above)

It is supposed to go the extension assigned (200, 201) but does not

It still goes to the same main operator that answers the call for Inbound 1 – 5 above.

Any suggestions?

Check the Activity Log to confirm what DID number is being sent. Your rule may not be an exact match. You may need to modify, possibly using wildcards.

I thought that might be an issue, so I put an * in front of the DID yesterday as a wildcard. That did not help.

I do not see anything in the activity log about this. It is set to "Low". Does it need to be increased to show this information?

If your DDI number is 1234 567890, try *567890 in the DDI number

Should this be done under the SIP trunk or in Inbound Rules

Right now, (while trying everything to get something to work) I remove the DDI from the Broadvoice SIP Trunk that holds the rest of the DDI and created a SIP Trunk of its own with one DDI. Should I remove this and only have one SIP trunk will all DDI's assigned to it and then have an Inbound rule using this DDI?

So all DDI's should be under one SIP trunk? And then an Inbound rule applied to each DDI to route the call?

Yes twice, like that

I have made the changes. Will monitor the results

And can i know if we will use the default Sip trunk parameter inbound/outbound or there will be a change on its configuration

it depends on what you want, if you want to send main number to callee then let main number in trunk settings, by the way if you want to send DID then you need to set it in each extension caller ID
and also be sure your sip provider supports clip no screening otherwise it will be impossible to use DID's on outgoing calls
