I have a new installation of 3CX 16.0.504

I setup a SIP Trunk with the provider "Telnyx LLC." I purchased and setup multiple DIDs from Telnyx. I then assigned the DIDs to various extensions.

When I make outbound calls from any extension that are assigned a DID, they currently appear as the "Main Trunk No" entered in the SIP Trunk config. I'm ok with that for now, because outbound calling simply works.

I am, however, having problems with dialing the into any of the DIDs besides the "Main Trunk No," which does route properly to it's assigned extension (Extension 000).

The other DIDs all route to the 'Extension 000/Main Trunk No' rather than directly to the assigned extensions.

How do I get the DIDs to route directly to their intended assigned extensions?

I've attached screenshots of relevant configurations.3CX-InboundRules.PNG3CX-MainTrunkNo.PNG3CX-TelnyxDID.PNG3CX-TelnyxInbound.PNG

Thanks.

You need to confirm (3CX Activity Log), the format of the DID information , sent by your provider. It must match the DID rules exactly, or they will not be followed. You can use wildcards, at the beginning of the numbers, in the rules.

For the DID number to be sent, your provider must allow this, the DID number must be programmed against each extension in the external caller ID field, and the outbound trunk settings must be set to send the caller ID in the correct field.

The outbound portion is now fixed by simply adding the Outbound Caller ID within the Extension. Thanks for that.

Now to the inbound problem... :D

After an incoming call, Check the Activity Log to see what digits your provider is sending as the DID. Adjust your rules to match that number.

Thanks. I stripped the +, and that seemed to do the trick!
