Hi There,

I would like to configure different inbound rules based on the day of the week.

For example:

Every Monday:

00.00 - 08.00 - After hours to extension 101
08.00 - 17.00 - Business Hours to Ring Group
17.00 - 23.59 - After hours to extension 102

Every
Tuesday:

00.00 - 08.00 - After hours to extension 105
08.00 - 17.00 - Business Hours to Ring Group
17.00 - 23.59 - After hours to extension 106

Because I have different guys on charge based on the day of the week (same guy Monday, another guy Tuesday, and so on), I would like to set up one scenario for the whole week, not to change every day the after-hours guy.

I use the dummy extension to create multiple inbound rules based on time of the day, but I don't know how to set up inbound rules based on the day.

Thank you for your assistance!

Is this what you are looking for?

Hi moniputerPBX,

Yeap and no.

In your picture, you are sending the calls to extension 9999 every day.

I would like to route calls to extension 9999 for Monday but Tuesday to route the calls to extension 8888 for example.

This scenario to happen every Monday and every Tuesday and so on.

Thank you!

Sorry, I was just trying point out that in-bound rules can have date/time parameters. It seems that by using these options you can solve your problem.

Use call flow (CFD) if you have pro or enterprise license

Hi,
in this case CFD is not required...
Why don't use 7 dummy extension ; one behind the other like

0001 --> if available Monday --> 9999
--> if Not DND --> 0002
0002 --> If available Tuesday --> 8888
--> If Not DND --> 0003
0003....

like this for all week long...

it will works, i'm sure, and you can after send the call to a dummy extension with your time condition as well... quiet complex for debug but if you draw it first on paper, it's done

CFD is surely a better and cleaner solution and with not a lot of dummy to use, your idea sounds to me like it is a gas factory to understand and kind a mess to keep alive during years.

100% CFD the only way to do advanced routing like that
