Digital Receptionist...Please wait...and a blast of on hold

Hi 3cx ers

So I've set up my digital receptionist....the action for press 1 is to point to an extension that is set to dial an external number...
The trouble is.....after pressing 1 I get the system message saying 'please hold while I transfer your call'.....a quick blast of our on hold music then the call goes through...

Is there any way to stop the system message and the blast of hold music? It just comes across a bit clunky...

In a way it's similar to what making a call from the 3CX myphone does when making an external call from my phone book... with the blast of on hold music that is.

3cx 11 SP2 if that helps with any suggestions...

You can replace default on hold music with some ring tone?

Thanks mixig, we'd thought of that but we'd like on hold music for when people are on hold not when using the digital receptionist function...I think it's going to be one of those things we have to live with for the time being...

Just as mixig had suggested that you could replace using a ring tone, you can also do using a music file of your choice. There are a number of websites that have royalty free music files where for a small fee you obtain the rights to use.
