Direct call to number#extension - how to?

Hey,

Is there any way to have a direct call to an extension? For example if somebody would like to call number 1234 and reach extension 999, is there any way for a caller to call 1234#999 (or something similar) and directly reach the extension, without the need to listen to the greeting and input the extension?

in one way you can not dial this, as the number you call 12345#EXT is not a number and overlap dialing is something from the past.

You can point a DID (12345) to an IVR (not 999) and once it announces something dial the ext number. You will connected.

You are going to have to get a DID number/service. They exist to do what you are asking for.
