Hello!

This will probably have a simple solution.

We have a 3CX instance with two separate SIP trunks. I have one of the SIP trunks set to automatically ring to our IVR. I'm trying to find a way though to have direct calls to a number automatically ring the person with that number, and bypass the IVR.

For example, I have a DID assigned to me. It is 919***6166. If someone dials that number directly, the SIP it is assigned to sends it to the IVR. I want the caller to automatically ring my extension when dialing this direct number. I have tried an Inbound Route rule but it still rings to the IVR.

Anyone have any thoughts?

When creating a DID in your SIP trunk, we always recommend using the last 6 digits of the number preceded by a *

For example. If you have a DID of 9195556166 your DID should be configured as *556166

This way the PBX will ignore if the provider is sending the DID In the TO: of the INVITE as +19195556166 or 19165556166 or 9195556166. It will always match, and go to the correct destination.

This looks to have fixed it. Thanks everyone!
