Direct Ring vs Ring Group Rings

When someone calls and the call is directed to a ext/phone its a regular ring sound but when someone calls and it is directed to a ring group that rings the ext(s) it makes a double ring sound. Is there a way to change this? Not sure if its a pbx setting or yealink phone setting.
