Direct SIP will ring and record a missed call but will not present to the extension.

I have a need for Direct SIP but i can not get the extension to be presented with the call. i get a call log in reports as a direct SIP call internal to the extension but the extension does not get presented with the call when i hang up the extension will get the missed call notification.
IP addresses have been white listed which got rid of the event log warning 30051.

the direct SIP is coming from twilio.

If you have not yet done so, and have access to the 3CX Activity Log, Have a look at it in Verbose. It might give you some more information as to what is happening.

Try adding the Direct SIP ID to a trunk as a DID.

This was the missing piece.
I added the DiD to the SIP trunk and bang it is now ringing at the extension.
I didnt think the trunk and direct SIP would or could use the same DiD since the DiD is entered in the trunk.
