Disable 3CX Remote Phonebook

Hello,

Im new to the forum, i did a quick search but could not find the answer i was looking for.
I hope this is the right section.

We have some yealink t19p_e2 and t21P_e2 phones which should not display the remote 3cx phonebook. is there any way to make this happen without editing the template?

i know you can change the option "remote phonebook" in the template but then 3cx displays the template in red with (custom template)

Is it in any way possible to make it happen by group?

What are you are wanting to do, is not possible within 3CX using options with the software

You have two options.

1. Custom templates
2. Log into the web frontend of the phone, remove the provisioning url and the remote phone book setting. Removing the provisioning url does mean, that any changes will have to be done via the phone web frontend

As @Saqqara mentioned it is not possible to disable the phonebook through 3CX. You could use either or the 2 methods outlined above and you could post this as a feature request to our ideas section of the forum https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/3cx-ideas/ . All posts are reviewed by their corresponding Departments and, if feasible and voted for by other users as well, may be implemented in an upcoming service pack or update.

with 600+ phones it takes to long to edit every phone, one by one. for now we stay with the custom template.

i will post a thread in the 3cx ideas section.
