Disable Recording

Many of our clients are law enforcement. While they like the integration with outlook, they remind us the illegality in the USA to record conversations without a warrant or consent (illegal wiretapping). Can we please have a way to use the this feature but disable the Recording ability on the 3cX Myphone? Otherwise we will have to limit deployment of part of a product.

Hi there,
Unfortunately 3CXPhone recording recording feature cannot be disabled, but what you could do is using a queue with option "Give caller ability to opt out of recording (DTMF 3)". Then have in your intro prompt the info stating if one presses 3 call will not be recorded.
