Disable Switchboard in 3CXPhone for Windows?

Is there a way to completely disable the Switchboard in 3CXPhone for Windows, on a per extension/user basis?

I am afraid there is no such option but you can limit it's functionality from the rights tab in extension settings.
You can also post this as a feature request in the ideas section of this forum

In another thread, Nick indicated that you can disable the switchboard. Was he mistaken?

You can already disable Webmeeting, Conferencing and Switchboard for users. We just have to update it for chat and its on the way, in fact we want to make a major upgrade to chat.

From the thread there we can advise that the intention of the CEO was that we include this soon to the product as like chat that is mentioned, but is not currently possible, this will probably come in future service packs/ updates of the system.
