Disaster Recovery Test

Hello,
I want to do a DR test but i would like to keep my live phone system working.
I have 3cx VM backup. I also have 3CX backups files.
Ideally, I'd like to have a DR FQDN / DR IP, but keep my settings (phones, trunks, rules, etc.). I'm not planning on any users/phones getting on the DR PBX, just me for a few test calls.
Or, is there a utility to verify the 3CX backup files (short of a restore)?
Or, maybe there is a better way to test this. Ideas?

Do not use your current license for dr testing , get a new trial license

Backup you existing system without fqdn and license.

Install new 3cx system and select restore from backup, use the backup from above

Do bear in mind that that, by doing so you might actually disrupt external calls especially if the SIP Trunk is a Register based SIP Trunk since you'll essentially be registering the same SIP account from a different PBX and possibly from a different location too.
