Hi team, we are in the process of integrating our 1st CRM with 3CX. We began with HubSpot, fully configured it, we got their "Starter" plan, everything seemed to work great until we went live and realized that we were not able to Search Custom created fields, and 3CX was not able to pull up profiles if an incoming call phone number for example was in the "Phone-2" or "Phone-3" custom field that we created for those clients that have multiple phone numbers. To us it seemed like a simple thing for a CRM to allow us to be able to search for content given custom fields, and for 3CX to look up a customer's profile based on whichever number a client called from. I opened a ticket with HubSpot and they mentioned that this is possible but only in their Enterprise edition with starts at $1200/month. This is way too much for us as a startup to afford, maybe in a few years it wouldn't be a burden but currently we just can't.

Does anyone have a good experience with a CRM that 3CX can lookup CRM profiles and automatically open them during an incoming call, for profiles may have multiple numbers within it. As well as a CRM that we can search for profiles based on a person's phone number, address etc.? Also one that won't cost an arm and a leg to use? Thank you all for your help.

Firstly, I believe you can now do it with the new HubSpot template which uses the new V3 API. Can't be sure for custom fields but you can simply edit the template to add your fields and try it.

As for a cheap CRM, Zoho is probably your best bet but I can tell you, you will hate the UI. HubSpot is so easy to use and has a clean UI compared to other CRMs.

You can DM for further discussions on APIs, CRMs and integrations between the two.

Thank you very much for your reply Frederick, we are pretty new to CRM integration with 3CX, would you know where to go to edit the existing HubSpot template?

To edit the template, from that page in the 3CX console press the "Show template" button, copy the XML to a new file, and start editing it. Once you have it, you can upload it to 3CX with the "Add" button. Ensure that you change the Name attribute so you don't override the default template, otherwise any update from 3CX will override your changes.

Also, you can use the CRM tool to edit the template, no need to edit the XML by hand:
