Solved Display IVR selection on a Grandstream GPX2135

When a caller makes a selection from an IVR / Digital Recptionist, the Grandstream GPX 2135 displays the virtual number of the IVR but it does not display the group selected. Our Polycom and Yealink phones do. This information is important as some extensions belong to multiple groups and the operator needs to know what the context of the call is. How do I include this information on the GPX 2135?

Have you checked the Management Console settings under Advanced >> Contacts >> Options and Prepend the Queue name? This should tell you the queue that's been selected by the IVR then the number of the caller.

Thanks for that tip, I had not found that option but by default the selection is appended. I changed it to prepend and now the Yealink and Polycom experience is better but it didn't change the Grandstream behaviour. They display RINGING (Transferred from 800) , 800 being the Virtual extension of the IVR.

The problem is solved. In fact Prepending did fix the issue. I had already found another issue with Extenions in the local phone book overriding the other data and I had deleted my test stations from that, however, they had snuck back in and once I deleted those again, I now see the IVR selection in place of the phone book data. Thanks for your help.
