Display Name & Extension on Yealink T21/T23 Phones

Good Day,

I have been meaning to ask how others are handling the display of a user's name and extension numbers on Yealink phones. I normally use 4 digits extension numbers but they never fully display on the Yealink phones. It display a phone icon and then part of the number followed by "..." next to the Line keys. As for the name, at the top in the phone display, it scrolls. How are you guys handling theses?

Is their a way to display the whole extension number and keep the name displayed at all times? What about making the font size smaller?

Hi Alexander,

I do not know if this will satisfy, but there is a setting that allows you to adjust the length.

Please login the phone using the WUI and select “Dsskey” tab.
At the upper site of the screen you will see “Label Length” and select “Extended”
Hopefully all characters will be shown now.

Hi Complex1, looked everywhere and do see those options. I also checked all the other tabs with no luck. Right now looking at a T21P_E2

I'm sorry I've provide you wrong info.
It is only applicable to T54S/T48S/T48G/T46S/T46G/T29G IP phones.

So is it that others who are using the T21, 23 & 27 with 4 digits extensions has just accepted the idea that the Line key does not display the full extension non that you can just have the name for the extensions remain displayed without scrolling?
