Display Wallboard on Smart TV?

Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to display a call queue on a smart TV?
Also, can you changed the title of the 3CX Wallboard to the Queue Name or something custom?

If you are thinking of using the "smart" features (Wifi connectivity), of the TV, then, that may not be possible. Someone else may have atttemted, and might have some suggestions.however. TV manufacturers all have a different operating system and while there is some commonality, there would have to be an App for that. You could run the HDMI output from a computer, and simply use the TV as a large monitor.

As above, it may be hit or miss if the TV has the correct version of browser and supports any necessary addins.

Go to Webclient > Settings > Personalize > Wallboard and you can enter a custome message and selec your queueues.

TV firmware is not so well maintained when compared to normal PC browsers and they may not support all the features a modern Chrome or Firefox browser has. So would not consider it a long term solution even if it works.

You can try it, but you may be better off attaching a small computer (i.e a Raspberry Pi, or maybe an Intel Compute stick) that can always be kept up to date and can also be remotely managed if needed.
