Hello,
my provider ask me to set this in the header invite
"Diversion=sip:********@10.9.0*.****;reason=unconditional"
that is because i need to forward calls out of the 3cx and let the recevier see the original number who called the 3cx. where can i add this settings.

Enable Call Deflection in a dummy extension used for the forwarding and it should do that.

when i enable the forward at busy or dnd it works and shos the main trunk number. if i enable the deflection mode it saies that we are calling number not inavlid.
so when we enable the defletion the outgoing number is not valid number ( it is not the orignal number thet called us).

That's because it tries to send the original caller ID and your provider doesn't support that.

the provider says the he is supports diversion for this requests? is that the same thing ?

No, diversion and Clip No Screening are not the same.

What provider do you use?

Israel Provider named "HOT"
do you know them :) ?
also can 3cx handle divesrion ? if not how can i skip this issue ?

Yes 3CX can do it using Call Deflection (302), which sends a diversion header.

As I said, your issue is with the caller number presented to the provider when doing that diversion. If it sends the original caller ID, then the provider may reject it if they don't allow ClipNoScreening (which means you need to show a DID that's actually in your account.)

in elastix i manually added the diversion tag that they send me "Diversion=sip:*******@10.9.2*.***;reason=unconditional"
and it works fine. so they can forward number that is not in my DID.
in 3cx i cannot added manually, so i don't know what i should do...
i also ask the provider to sniffer the calls with and without deflection and they says that there is no deference.

Well, since you use a non-supported provider, there's not much else I can help you with.

I suggest contacting your provider or a 3CX Partner local to you who may know this provider and the system.

Hi all,
Have you made any progress on this?
We have the same situation on our 3cx 18.5. Unfortunately we have a non supported provider, but he says that they support the option to pass the original caller id when call is forwarded to an extensions mobile. They don't support the 302 Deflection that 3cx offers. What they need is the following:
- when call is forwarded to mobile, instead of sending 302 back to provider, 3cx should send another invite that has the following format:
From : original_number ( this can be changed in outbound param)
To : forwarded_number
Diversion: pbx_number - they say this must be present otherwise it will not work.

In 3cx, if 302 is disabled then pbx does another call to mobile extension, thus sending a second invite. but the Diversion message is missing from the sip header.
Is there a way to add it ?
