I have an office with 3 extensions all of which belong to a Ring Group with prioritized hunt.

Due to COVID restrictions, the 2 colleagues that normally work with me are going to have to work from home.

I have tried setting their extension to "Forward to Mobile" on status "Away" but that doesn't seem to work.

I'd prefer not to have to set "Ring my mobile simultaneously". Can anyone suggest another way?

I'm using the Standard Annual licence on version 16.0.619

do you use deskphones or webclient or app on smartphones?

Desk phones in the office. The plan is for my colleagues to use their mobiles at home.

ok so add app on their mobile and set same extension they use in the office.
In case you don't want deskphones ring in office, then create 2 new extensions for mobiles only and change RG settings to add new extensions in RG and remove temporarily deskphones

If I did that, I guess I could set the desk phone in the office to DND to stop it ringing?

No , if you do that extension won't ring everywhere

other way without changing RG settings is to set ring volume lowest as possible on deskphones.

Hmm - so if the desk phone and the mobile app are both going to ring. what's the benefit of installing the app versus checking the "Ring my mobile simultaneously" option? I suppose it would avoid the cost of the calls to the mobile?

You're right, no cost if app ring and not mobile.
If you choose that way , keep app only using 4G to avoid bad wifi signal from home box

Thank you very much for your help. It is much appreciated :)
