The docs says 3CX support Windows Server 2008. Does anyone have any experience running 3CX on Windows Server 2008 R2 (64bit)? are there any potential problems? Thanks.

Rodney

We have been running 3CX on Windows Server 2008 32-bit for 8 months now, no problems at all. We are using a Dell R300 server with 2Gb of RAM and a RAID 1 setup, absolutely no problems coping with 7 - 10 simultaneous calls with recording.

However the company that built out our 3CX platform strongly recommended against using the 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008.

We have a client running on Windows Foundation 2008 R2 for the last couple weeks. No 'major' issues.

WITH 64 BIT HERE, RUNNING PERFECT... why did they not recommend it?

We have been running server 2008 R2 64bit for last 4 months .... no issues

Thank you everyone for sharing your experience. I just need to assure the customer that Server 2008 R2 (which is available only on 64bit) won't have any problem with 3CX. Highly appreciate all the responses.
