Thank you. If I go PRI connection with 30 Channels, can I customise the utilisation of channels in 3CX. For Example I have group of agents assigned different DID like Sales DID 111111, Ops DID 222222, Finance DID 333333. Can I reserve Channels for group like for Sales 15 Channels, Ops 5 Channel and Finance 5 channels and others 5.

You can’t set max callers per DID. However. If you route the DID numbers to call queues you can set maximum number of callers for each queue.

Any calls to a queue that exceeds the maximum callers will route to its end (timeout) destination (generally voicemail).

There are some options that the Patton device supports (and are worth mentioning) but they do require customisation of the Patton configuration/template which can challenging if you are not familiar with manual configuration of the device,

On the Patton gateway you can configure call load balancing between multiple interfaces using a service distribution group: https://www.patton.com/support/kb_art.asp?art=48&p=122 only an option if you have multiple interfaces of course.

The Pattons also offer what is called a "hunt group" service:
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/535428/Patton-Electronics-Smartnode-Series.html?page=399

Although I doubt the "hunt group" service would be preferable however as it is designed really for interfaces (of multiple BRI/PRI) rather on a channel level. Based on your posts so far I assume you have only a single port PRI model: https://www.patton.com/voip-gateway/sn4170/

For both of the above you can reference the functionality in the Trinity manual here:
https://www.patton.com/manuals/Trinity3.12cli.pdf

3CX also includes a Hunting Mode option in the gateway config within the PBX, although this only offers basic functionality:

The “Normal” option always starts from the first port, first channel the “Cyclical” approach spreads the calls across all ports evenly in a round robin manner ports that are already in use will be skipped and the next available port will be used.

The option I think that would be best for you (as posted above) is to create multiple Queues on 3CX and simply allocate a DDI per Queue and limit the "Maximum Callers in Queue" setting to whatever limit you desire.

Please also note that you will need to consider channels per line (ISDN) and simultaneous calls on your PBX licence.

This post has a good outline of queue simultaneous call count (response from 3CX):
https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/simultaneous-call-licence.45831/

Also consider your destination if no answer from the queue could (dependent on what you set) take up simultaneous calls as well, this post references PRI as well: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/number-of-simultaneous-calls.56715/

Thank you for your inputs. Any other gateway does support native configuration to reserve the channels for particular DID without any customization.

Do we get support from 3CX if need any kind of customization in PattonSN4171 If I choose this

Speak to Patton for support on this, they will be able to assist and are very helpful.

I have heard recently some positive steps have been made between these devices and 3CX, watch this space.
