Downgrade 3CX

Hi there,

Our 3CX subscription expires in 2 weeks. What is the best way to downgrade from 16PRO > 8PRO?

We are currently using a FQDN, however there is no need for the FQDN anymore. Happy to use the standard 3cx domain going forward.

We do not use a reseller. bought directly.

Customer portal seems to have bugs.

Hi,
The best way is to buy a new license 8PRO and than backup the configuration of the 16PRO with the flag "Include License Key Information & FQDN" unchecked. There is no way to downgrade a license from 16PRO to 8PRO with the same license in the 3cx world.

You don't need to backup and restore. You can replace the key without reinstalling.

You can continue to go direct but working with a partner gets you helpful little tidbits like this for free with no extra cost to you.
