Yes the phone is factory reset. I am unable to configure it from 3CX. I only input the credentials for each extension into the profiles on the DP750 and the IP of the SBC. Extensions are registered and calls are completing, but there is a horrendous delay now. Grandstream has replied a couple of times, but aren't giving up their template very easily. Thanks for your help!
You can't configure it from 3CX since you don't have the template.

You might need to play with headers, codecs and jitter settings. Open the GXP21xx template in your 3CX console and search for each field in the template, try copying the config from the GXP template to your DP75x web UI.

Are you signed up as a partner/reseller with Grandstream, or simply as end-user? If end-user, there's a good chance you won't be able to get it. To be partner, you must have a distributor partnered with GS.

We are GS resellers. I will wait for a response from them. I don’t have time to search out every setting to make this work. Hopefully they can get me a template otherwise I’m pulling these and moving to something supported and configurable. I definitely think there is something fishy going on with GS.

Well, my friend, if they don't give it up, DM me.

There's nothing fishy, just config issues. I use the template and it works perfectly. I am actually right now on 2 simultaneous calls on 2 different handsets on my DP752 connected to 3CX via the template Grandstream is supposed to provide.

Thanks! Will do. I am assuming you just import that template into the 750 and change login creds or does that actually make it function like the GXP21xx phones where it can be managed in the management console?

You will need to upload it manually via FTP, or file transfer on Windows, into /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Interface/templates/fxs.

Then, it will appear under Advanced -> FXS/DECT.

The Grandstream engineers are saying that all 4 handsets should use the same profile which would put them all on the same SIP port. This doesn’t make sense to me.

also after installing and using the SBC the issues are back- calls do not complete to 3 handsets and the last one is working fine.
Can you send me the template and I will try to configure that way?

DM me your email. We can't send files through DM on the forum.

So I finally got the template out of Grandstream. Using their template, I am attempting to register 4 extensions, 1 on each handset. All register no problem. When a call is made in, 3 out of the 4 return a 486 Busy Here and since 2 handsets are in 1 RG and the other 2 are in the other RG, calls to the first RG are failing and the second only ring to one handset. I have tried this with SBC and with STUN with the same results. I have even gone as far as to have every port 1-65535 forwarded to the internal IP of my base station and the results are exactly the same.

I am at a loss here.

I suggest you investigate this issue with Grandstream. I don't have this issue and I too am using RG. 2 extensions on 3 handsets (1-1, 2-1). No issues for me.

For those of you playing along at home, I thought I would update this thread. I have been working with Grandstream and the issue seems to be with the registration timeout setting on the phone. After it expires it will not re-register. We currently have it set to 45 days while we are testing. The issue seems to pop up on the latest firmware.

I have a similar issue where the DP doesn't re-register after our VPN dropped and came back.

Might be related. I know they released a new version of the template to me but I haven't had time to play with it yet.

We also have the new one. According to GS it only fixed a time zone syncing issue. We have been adjusting the reregister before expiration and expiration settings to make headway on my issue. I will keep this updated if anyone else has an issue in the future.

Good to know, I was the one with the timezone issue.

Let me know about the timeouts, I'll do some testing of my own.

You might also want to disable SIP ALG in the USG you just installed.

Google for How to Disable SIP ALG on Unifi USG
