If there are dual WAN connection and the 3CX server is using WAN2 (basically dedicated WAN) but when that goes down the router fails it over to WAN1? 3CX have any issues with calls?

Note, provider has redundant IP capabilities so when WAN2 doesn't respond, calls go to WAN1.

All depends on how your SIP trunks are configured, if username and password authentication then no issues (we have this setup, just make sure firewall is setup for both wan connections)

If IP authenticated, do not know - suggest you test.

The only thing that will not work, is remote connections as we have configured the wan as fixed ip within 3cx, so the fqdn does not change. if you want this to change, setup with dynamic but you have to way up how long the main link is going to be down and how often 3CX updates the fqdn

I run 2 providers, first is IP based but can handle the failover to any number of secondary and tertiary ips, and the second that uses registrations has no issues with the switch, it's just a re-register.
