Dynamic DNS for mobile ext

Hi ,
Im wondering if there is way to use dynamic dns such as noip.com instead of public IP for external ext on android / iphone users ?

Can someone please provide me with the steps

Yes, you can. Just be sure to put the name into the 3CX PBX under Domain Name, or it will reject incoming calls

i tried to register my android mobile out side the company manually but i get the below error

registration failed , invalid password

im sure the authentication password correct and i change it more then one time , but still same error

You've probably discovered, that, for basic service, you need to forward ports 5060 and 9000 to 9049.

Try changing the password to something really simple, just for testing, like 123. Some people have had issues cutting and pasting passwords, as blank spaces have been inadvertently copied as well.

Have you tried registering the phone on the local LAN (wifi), or just from "outside"?

its working now after i enables 3cx tunnel , but from android mobile im not able to call external number .. it works only for extensions ? what i have to edit ?

It turns out that the Grandstream profile had the "Accept INVITE from Proxy Only" turned on. This prevented the hand-off of the call to the Android app. Turning this option OFF fixed the problem.

did not find "Accept INVITE from Proxy Only" , do you know its under which tap ?

Sorry, don't use the gateway. You will have to PM the other member if you get stuck.
