Dynamics 365 Phone number lookup with spaces in number

Hi all,

We have implemented CRM integration with Dynamics 365 server side, and are finding that if we have spaces in the phone number in CRM the phone number lookup does not find the contact.

In CRM if we change the number to have no spaces, then the lookup works correctly.

Is there a workaround for this to tell 3CX to ignore spaces when searching?

It's Dynamics who performs the comparisson, not 3CX. Maybe you can execute some batch job to remove the spaces automatically for you? That would be a question for Microsoft support...

Thanks for this. As we are Dynamics partners, I thought I'd have a play to see if we could edit the template used in 3CX. The odata query that we would need would include the replace function on the filter, but unfortunately Dynamics does not support that.

Short term fix is that I have created a workflow to remove the spaces from the phone number fields in our database.
