Hi, very new to all this...

The end game is CRM integration : incoming and outgoing calls should log an activity in CRM based on the recipient number (outbound calls) or caller number (incoming calls). I have confirmation CRM integration is setup as it should.

My problem now is to make sure the international prefifx (comply with e.164 I suppose) is part of the recipient number (outbound calls) or caller number (incoming calls).
  • For incoming calls, I was able to get Caller ID reformating in Trunk settings: working fine.: calls log indeed displays full e.164 compliant with international prefix. I can see it in the log and it allows CRM Integration to log the call details in CRM - great!
  • For outgoing calls, i'm stuck. I can't seen to find which settings to amend in order to have recipient number logged in e.164 compliant with prefix format: whether I dial a number WITH or WITHOUT the prefix, it always goes through as without prefix: even if I dial the prefix, it gets stripped...!
I have looked around outbound rules, prepend values, Caller id reformating, e.164 activation, SIP Trunk outbound parameters.... I'm stuck...

We have a SIP trunk, which is unsupported as far as I understand...not sure how it affects the above...

Any idea, anyone ?!

Thanks

You should use a SIP Trunk provider that supports e164 and then ensure numbers are dialled with e164 format... This is how i would go about it.
