Hey guys, working to understand E164 Processing better and ran into an issue with International Dial Code, which is set to 011. However whenever I dial a number starting with 011, the leading 011 is not replaced with a +

I understand how to get around this easily with outbound rules, however I want to use E164 Processing, because I feel like it's there for a reason.

3CX E164 Processing is meant to replace a + with the required prefix digits, not the other way around. A number with a leading + is understood to already be in the E164 format. 3CX will then convert that to something your provider can use.

If your provider will not accept prefix digits, and insists on a leading +, then use the outbound rules to do this.

What's the purpose for the International Dial Code setting under the E164 Processing Settings

The purpose is to convert a + into the required prefix and country code, if required, for your country, and the type of call (local, national, or international). If you already dial a number using the correct prefix, then the outbound rules can do the rest, modifying the number, to suit your providers requirements..
