e911 Addressing

I am using Intermedia for my SIP trunking. I am able to pick specific 911 addresses but all numbers come one trunk. I changed the caller ID to show the correct phone number going out. Will the 911 pickup the specified e911 address associated with that caller ID settings?

You have to do this within the settings of your SIP trunk provider and verify by dialing 911 and telling them you are testing. Each number, you have to fill out the address information and test them all.

Many providers (like us) will have a test number (like 933) that will simulate a 911 call and play the caller id and associated address without having to bother the PSAP. That is the preferred way to test 911. See if Intermedia has that capability. Otherwise you just call 911 and basically say 'This is not an emergency. I am a PBX installer testing 911. Can you confirm the number and associated address?'. Technically you are supposed to call the PSAP non-emergency line to coordinate your testing before doing that although installers rarely do that.
