ear piece getting pretty hot

can someone explain why making calls using the 3cx mobile client makes the speaker area of the phone so hot so quickly?

i dont experience this with other apps, including zoiper connected to 3cx

A speaker/earpiece itself doesn't normally get hot, so it may be something else in that vicinity that is warming up. Which model phone are you using, perhaps someone else with the same model has had the same, or a different experience.

i have no explanation but since upgrading to the latest beta, i haven't experienced this yet. i'll monitor and see what happens. i have a samsung galaxy prime G950U
