Hello,

I just wanted to post here to:
A) see if anyone else was experiencing this issue.
B) ensure 3CX were aware this is a problem.

Since a recent update to Microsoft Edge (136.0.3240.50 Official build 64-bit) there has been an issue happening across multiple of our clients where, when answering calls, there is a significant lag. This has happened across multiple clients, all of whom have had the latest Edge update.

We've locked down the Microsoft Store, so the desktop app is not an option, and the client also do not want to use Google Chrome.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is this something 3CX are aware of?

Hi Natasha,

I've tried with Edge and did not have the same issue, mine ending with .64, a slightly newer build.

1. Are the customers still facing the issue or has it improved?

2. Also you didn't mention, do absolutely all the users face the same issue, or is it just some?

3. As a partner in these cases you need to connect your Edge browser to a customer extension and see if you can also replicate it. Then also do the same using Chrome (regardless of customer preferences) so you can compare.

4. They may have other common factors, it might not necessarily be related to the browser. For example they are all on the same PBX, or different PBXs but all hosted in the same data center.

Let us know how it goes.

I can confirm this is happening with two different installations two different data centers azure and vultr:
Version 20.0 Update 6 (Build 675 Beta)

Ive been having issues with my Edge V137. and found that creating a firewall rule to stop Edge updates, and then rolling back to v135 allowed my to be registered again. I have noticed that some of my cache/cookies are maintaining, but that might just be a side effect of the rollback.
