Solved Edit Extension after v18 upgrade gives me "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Upgrade to v18. This upgrade Linux and 3cx. When you attempt to look at any extension get the following "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." I have reboot, ran the sudo apt-get install 3cxpbx.

Almos like the database needs a repair.

Were you using custom templates? There's an issue with that when upgrading.

We were struggling and found a very quick and easy way that worked for us.
Make a backup but don't tick box for templates.
Restore from this backup without templates and users will open just fine again
