Editing Templates for GrandstreamGRP2613/2616

Guys.
When we provision GS phones, the extensions appear twice on the phone consuming valuable function keys. It already has the extension number and name showing on the top so no need to assign 2 more function keys to it.
I know i have to copy the phone template and edit but not sure of which area to edit on the phone template so that it only shows 1 line key or no line key so that I can use the function key for other BLFs.
Anyone help?

Are you saying the 2 line keys can be removed but the phone will not work or that you can copy the template, edit it and remove the line keys?

Did you read the link, I posted - you can not remove the 2 line keys the phone will not work if you do

I am aware of that url that says the phone will not be able to make calls. Your post says you can remove the lines.
I am referring to https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/grandstream-has-double-entries.69624/ and am ok to use the phone GUI to make changes. Just after the line in the template where I can make the change.
