How to Configure Grandstream GRP26XX Series for 3CX
Applies to Grandstream GRP2601 (P), 2602 (P/W), 2603 (P), 2604 (P), 2612 (P/W), 2613, 2614, 2615, 2616
Important
- Used phones previously connected to another PBX system need to be reset first. See how to do this here.
- If it’s an old phone, you might have to upgrade its firmware to the latest 3CX supported version.
- Note: If you don't want to use RPS, you have to enter the provisioning URL into the phone via its web interface. The phone will be configured automatically and then restart. Use the DHCP option 66 if you have a large number of identical legacy phones (as the URL is different for each phone).
- Known limitations
- The first two keys are configured as line keys (via the template). This cannot be changed, otherwise the phone will not be able to make calls.
- If BLF Transfer mode is set to “Attended Transfer” Shared Parking BLFs will not auto-complete the call and must be manually completed.
- In order for the Phonebook to load properly, the First or Last name is required for each entry.
