Email Template not accepting HTML plus (+) sign

I'm trying to add a plus sign (+) into an email template, specifically to the Audio Conference one. I have tried as the simple text, HTML code ( + ) and HTML entity ( + ) without any luck.
Any ideas or could someone test in their environment so we can report this issue?
