Emergency Call Notifications to Mulitple/External Numbers

I'm working through setting up the notifications to be sent when an emergency number is dialed. If I choose to play an announcement, I can only select a single system extension or ring group.

Presumably the workaround for an external number is to create a dummy extension that forwards to the desired external number.

However, if I want to play an announcement to multiple recipients, I'm not seeing a way to do so. I can do a "Ring All" for the ring group, but that will only play the notification for the person who answers first, correct?

A page group might work, but then that's going to let other people hear. I don't think having everyone in earshot of the designated recipients knowing that there is a medical emergency is very useful.

Also, I would hope that someone with an "Advanced Certified" badge would know a better answer than "Test it?"

I didn't say I didn't know, it just seems it's a pretty easy scenario to test. And given the 'emergency setup' one would assume you would want to test it regardless of the forum answer. As far as being 'Advanced Certified' these settings weren't on the test when I last took it although I imagine they will be at some point

If you can't get what you need built-in from 3CX, you may want to look at our Emergency Notifier. We can notify as many people as you want by phone (text-to-speech with specific location - building, floor, pillar, cubicle), email, SMS. You can also restrict notifications geographically (by group). That's handy, for example, if you have a school district that shares a PBX between several different schools. No point sending notifications to High School staff if the emergency is at the grade school.
