Enable Call recording during Extn creation

Hi,

Is there any way we can set Call Recording enabled for External calls for all extensions by default. Now it is OFF when we create new extn

There are a couple of ways i can think of to achieve this. The first is to use the import functionality to import an extension with the correct settings.You can export an extension and see at the settings so you can replicate it with new extensions.
The other way is to create an extension as a template and then use the "Copy Extension" to duplicate it. You can copy over the settings of each tab as required.

I am afraid not, the default settings is "Recording Off"

If you create a template you will still need to manually select the import options checkbox which if not selected the extension will not be recorded.

Is there a fully automated way without any manual intervention which will be susceptible to human error? maybe an API or some other configuration?

Not to be offending, I think Yiannish already answered your question, this answer is surely not the one you want to have, but if it's not possible for now, asking and asking and asking the same don't produce best answer, this is like it is for now .
