Solved Enable/Disable CDP on Phone Provisioning Tab

So, I am starting into a project of deploying about 50 Fanvil phones onto a network entirely made up of Cisco switches with a voice VLAN defined on them. It is super easy to log onto the phone and set CDP, but then when the phones get their configuration from the 3cx server they turn it off and if I haven't set up the VLANS they can't talk to the 3cx server anymore. I can see that within the last year they added LLDP to the page and I would love it if they would add CDP as well. This is a bit of a hastle because I have multiple VLANS that the PCs connected to the back of the phone are supposed to be on. I will try to figure out how to add some custom XML to turn on CDP. I am also to new to post this to the ideas forum.

PS. Could someone post me the XML that I need to add and save me the time figuring it out?

PPPS. I would be fine if enabling LLDP also enabled CDP.

Please note that Fanvil was facing some issues with their CDP implemendation. We disabled it to avoid the issues the customers were facing. Please take a look below

Thank you for that information. I also did some research and learned how to enable LLDP on the Cisco switches. That worked on all but one of them.

Here is the documentation for enabling LLDP on the Cisco 3560 in case anyone finds this post trying to do the same thing that I am.

I did not need to enable all of the ports, so basically just:

Configure Terminal
LLDP Run
End
copy running-config startup-config
