EOL on T23\T29?

Would like to know if or when the T23g and T29g will go EOL anytime soon?

If they are, would like to start planning now on getting replacements. We are a higher education facility and we have about 40 T23g in our classrooms and close to 300 T29g for employees, and even several T48s for management. So trying to get those replaced will take time.

EOL is primarily decided by the phone manufacturer, not 3CX. As long as the phone manufacturer continues to provide 3CX with firmware and templates then you should be good. So this would be more of a question for Yealink or for your distribution partner. But logically, the T4xs series and then eventually the T4xu and newer T3x phones (once supported) would make the most sense as they are the newest phones.

EOL is more of an indicator not to purchase these phones. It doesn’t mean they won’t perform properly for more years in the same type of setup.

Agree with @CentrexJ, I know of people still using phones that reached their eols . But go ahead and check Yealink's website

Just posted on Yealink's forums the same thing as I understand it's more of a yealink question than 3cx.

Just didn't know if anybody on here as heard anything as to when those will go end of life.

T23Gs are pretty good basic phones from Yealink, I couldnt imagine they'd be looking to EOL these in the near future

Actually it looks like the entire T2X series is going to EOL at some point, to be replaced by the T3X series per a recent Yealink webinar. They should continue to work for several years I imagine, but I would look at getting T3X on your next purchase provided 3CX support is there.
