Error deleting old Patton Gateway

When I try to delete the old trunks from a Patton gateway I get the following error:

Commit failed on transaction Delete TCX.Configuration.Interop.Wexternalline

Any ideas of what might be causing this. I can't seem to get the old trunks to delete
