Hello :)
I have a Sennheiser headset. This is attached via a no name Bluetooth dongle to my PC.
I am able to phone with the 3cx softphone.
But I want the integration: take call, end call via headset button.

I followed this post.
https://www.3cx.com/docs/configuring-sennheiser-headsets/

I installed the Chrome extension.
I installed the epos software and updated the Pro2 firmware to 2.x, a few days ago.
I installed the 3CX plugin from epos.

In epos software the default softphone is 3CX.
The default headset is empty.

When I try to us the headset integration in the web client, I get error message: HeadSetup Pro connected but no headset found.
In the Chrome extension the integration option is not visible.

Questions:
1) Do I miss something?
2) Should it work connected with Bluetooth dongle?
Or do I need a base station for my headset to use this?
(I assume the later as the crappy epos software needs an USB cable to update the firmware - over Bluetooth that was not possible)

Thanks
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

This is something that is not advertised very much, but in order for the "integration" part of the headset to work, you need to use the BT dongles provided. This applies for most BT headsets I know, not just EPOS/Sennheiser.

Without it, you will just get audio.

Also you will of course have to have their software installed.
