Solved Error with Fanvil X5U

This phone is in the supported list of phones but I'm getting an error. Under Phones, Fw. Version: says Not Supported 2.4.2. When I select it and click firmware to update it shows this.

Model: Fanvil X5U

Device: 2.4.2

Available: 2.4.12

Information: Fanvil X5U FW: Maintenance release

It it still has the 2.4.2 loaded when it has completed.

I'm running Professional 18.0 (Build 450).

UPDATE: I was able to get it to load manually using the firmware file from 3CX and the phone's interface from the IP.

Glad to hear! Just FYI, anything lower than 2.4.12 will always fail to upgrade remotely because its is too old and contains expired certificates.

For those phones, the only solution is to upgrade them manually, and then if any newer updates come in the future you will be able to do it automatically via 3CX as originally intended.
