Some more details can be found in an other thread that I hope we will continue here now:

Hi Rico,

I have tried 127.0.0.1 earlier, but tested it again after your post.
I also moved to the same ports you used 5055 and 5065.
Restarted the server to be sure that nothing old was affecting the result.

I still get the same Error Event ID: 1175 and the "Forbidden" from SIP phone when trying to connect to Exchange extensions.

You wrote that you had the same issue as me earlier, what exatly did you upgrade to get rid of it? (Exchange 2007 to SP1, 3CX to V7, Operating System to what)?
(My setup is Windows 2008 SP1, Exchange 2007 SP1, 3CX 7.0.4744.0)

Rico, Ase

As far as you start your discussion here, could you please share your knowledge and comment all posts in this thread. It may help a lot of people

Thanks

well, I did all the step on the FAQ 3CX, it is a little different because SP1 the dialog box are different.

One thing to check is to be sure you have a pin code for the extension is the same as the one on the UM of the user but on the 3CX it is the one of the voice mail not the pin code of the phone (I had to use 4 digit to be on the security strategi of exchange)

I have a pdf of a screen copy but I am not allowed with the system to upload

Rico,

If I remember, we had the discussion about v6 and SP1 of MS EXCHANGE, isn't it?
What is the difference between v7 and v6? Why v7 is working but v6 didn't?

Thanks

Very good question !! I have no idea why V6 didnt work

give me a solution to send a pdf file and I send you the screenshot of my setting

Hi

In test labs V6 works fine with release of Ex07 as well as SP1. FAQ update for Ex07 is ready and being reviewed.

Thats great news William,

I hope it willl cover more in detail how to configure everything than the earlier FAQ did,
more like do not choose this because of... but choose this because of... PIN lenghts has to be XX, you have to have the same value in 3XC in this field and so on...

In other words failproof.

Thanks,
Ase

Hi,

Any new info on the timeplan?
Will the review/testing also be done on a server with both Exchange 2007 SP1 and 3CX installed on the same server?
