We have v15.5.5 with valid maintenance running
We use a 3CX supplied/generated FQDN.

For some reason, the certificate has expired today and was not automatically renewed.

How do I get the certificate renewed?

You usually get an email on the email address you have set as an admin email if there is an error.

If you didn't get an email, your first line of business is to double-check under settings --> Email --> Notifications that you email is there.
If it failed, it tries every 24 hours. Give it until tomorrow and check again.

Hi, thanks for your reply!

E-Mail ist there. I got some E-Mails, but all of them were notifications of blocked IPs or trunk errors when the user dials a number, that is not existing.

For 48 hours we are not able to log in into 3CX via FQDN. It outputs an certificate Error, HSTS restricts access.

Could you please help renewing the certificate?

To see why its failing you need to check a log file:
Windows: C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Logs\PbxConfigToolRenewCertificates.log
Linux: /var/lib/3cxpbx/Data/Logs/PbxConfigToolRenewCertificates.log

By the time your cert is expired, you should see 1 attempt each day.

Check in the, maybe it gives a clue what it is failing.

Hi Nick. Thank you for your help. We took the chance and moved from Amazons AWS-Cloud to OVH an reinstalled the pbx. Everything runs fine.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for the update.
